The young european swiss | yes hopes that the global challenges which particularly affect our young generation will be mastered in active cooperation with the other European states. But in Switzerland there are politicians, institutions and people in public life who call for Switzerland to be isolated or endanger the economic and social development of our country. Therefore yes annually awards the negative prize of the Golden Barbed Wire to the Swiss personality or institution that wants to isolate and differentiate our country most strongly from the rest of Europe or has exposed itself last year in a particularly “isolationist” way.
